David Stringer

David Stringer is the Managing Editor for Climate and ESG in Asia at Bloomberg, a position they have held since 2024. With over 25 years of experience in international journalism, they previously served as Senior Reporter for Energy & Commodities and Asia Energy Team Leader at Bloomberg from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, Stringer worked at the Associated Press as a Political Correspondent from 2005 to 2012, covering significant events globally and developing the organization's social media presence. They began their journalism career at the Derby Telegraph and held positions at the Press Association, while earning a BA (Hons) in Journalism from The University of Sheffield.
