Edward S.

Edward S. has extensive experience in software engineering, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Bloomberg since September 2014. Edward is part of the Message API team, responsible for maintaining the API that facilitates communication among engineering teams for sending and receiving messages and emails. Prior to this role, Edward contributed to the backend infrastructure of the Bloomberg instant messenger "Instant Bloomberg" within both the Communication Channels Content Creation and Content Distribution teams. Edward began career development as an R&D Summer Intern at Bloomberg in 2013, working on a log ingestion and search system for the FXGO team, and previously completed a Technology Intern position at Ocado, where involvement centered on an order tracking system using Google App Engine. Edward holds a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Southampton, earned in 2014.
