Florence J. is a Senior AI Research Engineer at Bloomberg, where they focus on creating next-generation voice AI for finance. Previously, they worked as an AI Research Engineer at DiDi, where they built streaming speech translation software and contributed to research that led to a US patent. Florence began their career as a Machine Learning Researcher at Rendered.AI, developing geospatial intelligence from satellite imagery, and also held a position as a Quantitative Researcher at TD Securities, specializing in alpha research using machine learning. They are currently pursuing a Master of Science in Machine Learning at New York University while also working towards a Bachelor's degree in Maths and Accounting from Baruch College.
