Ira Jersey

Ira Jersey is an experienced financial strategist and educator. As the Founder and General Manager of Real Central NJ Soccer since April 2020, Jersey has focused on developing a pre-professional soccer club in central New Jersey, promoting affordable and high-quality soccer in the Trenton area. Concurrently, Jersey serves as the Chief US Interest Rate Strategist and Global Rates Team Leader at Bloomberg LP, providing expertise on Treasuries, swaps, and Federal Reserve matters since April 2017. Previously, Jersey held positions at OppenheimerFunds, Credit Suisse, and RBC Capital Markets, specializing in fixed income and US interest rate strategy. Additionally, Jersey taught in the MS in Finance Program at The New School for Social Research. Educational achievements include an MA in International Studies from the University of Birmingham, an MA in Economics from The New School, and a BA in Political Science and Broadcast Journalism from American University.
