Jacob Harrison

Jacob Harrison is a researcher investigating hardware and low-level software security. They are currently a Systems Security Architect in the CTO Office at Bloomberg and have previously held positions such as Research Assistant at the University of Florida, where they studied hardware/software security under Dr. Mark Tehranipoor. Jacob has interned at prestigious organizations, including Bloomberg LP and NASA, and has contributed to projects that enhance firmware development workflows and improve security in embedded systems. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Valparaiso University, graduating summa cum laude, and are pursuing a PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Florida.
