James Helm

James Helm is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as BQuant Engineering Manager and BPaaS Team Lead at Bloomberg since June 2014. In this role, James leads the Bloomberg Platform as a Service (BPaaS) initiative and previously contributed as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on BPaaS and trading solutions. Prior to Bloomberg, James worked at Lockheed Martin from December 2005 to July 2012, where responsibilities included collaborating on a high-performance computing digital signal/image processor for a government program and integrating algorithms into production. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Penn State University, earned in 2005.
