João Abrantes

João Abrantes, CQF, is a Senior Portfolio Analyst at Bloomberg, where they focus on financial analysis and portfolio management utilizing their expertise in quantitative finance and machine learning. Previously, at Banco Montepio, João launched a successful euro-hedged US large-cap equities investment fund and co-managed multiple award-winning investment funds. They serve as a Teaching Assistant in the MSc. of Finance program at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, imparting knowledge in financial modeling, empirical finance, and data science. João holds a Master’s degree in International Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Business from ISCTE Business School.
