Maxine Kwan

Maxine Kwan is a skilled Software Engineer at Bloomberg LP since July 2020, with prior experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Airbnb and Facebook. At Airbnb, Maxine contributed to the China Trust Experience team by enhancing ID verification processes and implementing frontend changes in React. During the internship at Facebook, Maxine played a key role in launching Confetti, an interactive trivia game show platform, by developing playback features on Android and updating backend systems. Additional experience includes a research assistant position at Carnegie Mellon University's Human-Computer Interaction Institute, focusing on social AI techniques, and earlier internships in iOS development and technical marketing. Maxine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
