Michael Beal

Michael Beal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science, investment, and strategic leadership. Currently serving as Head of Enterprise Data Science Specialists for the Americas at Bloomberg since January 2023, Michael previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Data Capital Management, where the focus was on leveraging artificial intelligence for superior client outcomes. Prior to this, Michael co-founded the J.P. Morgan Big Data and Advanced Analytics Group, managing significant budgets for big data infrastructures as Director of Strategy. Michael's earlier roles include serving as an Investor at TPG Capital, where expertise was applied in financial modeling and due diligence across various sectors, as well as working as an M&A Analyst at Morgan Stanley, supporting major merger and acquisition negotiations. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics and an MBA, both from Harvard University.
