Michael Maternaghan

Michael Maternaghan is an experienced User Experience professional with a diverse background in leading user research and interaction design. Currently serving as User Experience Team Lead at Bloomberg LP since May 2014, Michael is responsible for enhancing the user experience of the Bloomberg Terminal. Prior to this role, Michael was Head of User Experience at Pershing, a BNY Mellon company, where leadership encompassed a global team focused on standardizing user experience practices and delivering optimal interfaces for desktop, web, and mobile platforms. Michael's career also includes positions such as Director of Usability at TheLadders.com, Founder and Usability Consultant at InsideMind, and Human Factors Manager at Atinera. Michael holds an MBA from UCL and a BSc in Psychology with a focus on Human Factors from Loughborough University.
