Mike Bloomberg is an entrepreneur and philanthropist who served three terms as Mayor of New York City from 2002 to 2013. Born in Boston in 1942, Bloomberg attended Johns Hopkins University and later earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. After a successful career at Salomon Brothers, Bloomberg founded Bloomberg LP, transforming it into a global financial information powerhouse. Mike is currently a trustee at Cornell Tech and holds titles such as Chairman of the Perelman Performing Arts Center and President of the Board at C40 Cities. Bloomberg also actively engages in climate initiatives as the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy on Climate Ambition and Solutions and chairs several organizations focused on public health and climate action.
