Nathaniel Brown has extensive experience in technology and systems engineering, currently serving as Manager of Managed Systems Platform Engineering at Bloomberg since September 2009. In this role, Nathaniel leads teams focused on developing an integrated platform and APIs for Bloomberg's managed infrastructure. Prior positions at Bloomberg included Team Leader for various initiatives such as the Infrastructure Console, where Nathaniel created a self-service platform for software-defined infrastructure, and Engineering Asset Management, which involved workflow tooling for infrastructure assets. Nathaniel also managed development for data center applications aimed at optimizing operations. Earlier experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant and Sanger Scholar at Beloit College, assisting with research under Professor Ben Newton. Nathaniel’s career began at Bloomberg as a Desktop Support Specialist. Nathaniel holds a BA in Mathematics from Beloit College and has also studied at Eötvös Loránd University.
