Navid Pustchi, PhD, has extensive experience in software engineering and research within cybersecurity and cloud technologies. A research assistant at the Institute for Cyber Security at The University of Texas at San Antonio from August 2013 to May 2016, Navid developed federated access control models in multi-cloud environments and conducted research on quality of service in wireless sensor networks. As a cloud software engineer intern at Intel Corporation, contributions were made to the OpenStack project, specifically to Keystone and openstackclient. Currently, Navid serves as a senior software engineer at Bloomberg LP, focusing on cloud infrastructure. Prior roles include a postdoctoral research fellow at the Open Cloud Institute, where work involved resource allocation models, and a software engineer at Turbonomic. Navid earned a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
