Nick Sallon

Chief Partnerships Officer, Bloomberg Media at Bloomberg

Nick Sallon is the current Chief Partnerships Officer at Bloomberg Media. Nick has held this position since July of 2022. Prior to their current role, Nick was the Head of Longform Partnerships at Twitter from July 2015 to July 2022. Nick also served as an Advisor at Epidemic Sound from March 2015 to May 2021.

Before their time at Twitter and Epidemic Sound, Nick was the Senior Director of Business Development at Aereo from March 2011 to November 2014. Nick was the 8th employee to join the company and helped build it from pre-product stage to an online subscription business with 120 employees. Nick was responsible for business development and content acquisition and formulated partnerships with hundreds of prospects, including content, distribution, advertising, infrastructure, and software firms.

During their time at Aereo, Nick secured a multi-year content licensing and distribution deal with Bloomberg TV, which became the first US cable network to offer a linear channel online without requiring a payTV subscription. Nick also optimized subscriber acquisition and user experience by launching marketing analytics and customer care. In addition, Nick managed the design and deployment of MySQL data warehouses, ETL processes, Tableau & Google Analytics software.

Prior to their time at Aereo, Nick served as an Advisor at Videology, Inc. from January 2010 to March 2010.

Nick Sallon has an MBA from the London Business School and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Nick also has a Bsc with First Class Honours in Politics from the University of Bristol.

They are on a team with Julia Beizer - Chief Digital Officer, Bloomberg Media, Kihara Kiarie - CFO, Bloomberg Media, and Andrew Grossman - Head of Corporate Strategy & Chief of Staff to the CEO, Bloomberg Media. Nick Sallon reports to Scott Havens, CEO, Bloomberg Media Group.
