Peter Lund

Peter Lund is the Manager of the AI Group at Bloomberg LP, where their work focuses on natural language understanding, recommendation systems, time series analysis, and anomaly detection within financial applications. Before this role, Peter served as Team Lead and Machine Learning Engineer at Bloomberg from 2019 to 2022. They previously pursued research in machine learning applications to neuroscience as a Biomedical Engineering PhD candidate at Carnegie Mellon University from 2012 to 2014, where they also held teaching assistantships and received the ARCS Fellowship. Peter earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012 and a Master of Science in Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon in 2014.
