Tian Chen

Tian Chen has extensive experience in financial journalism, with a focus on the China markets. At Bloomberg LP from November 2020 to August 2021, Tian served as the Asia FX/Rates Team Leader, managing coverage of Asia's FX and rates markets, while also reporting on China's FX, bonds, and stocks. Previous roles included being a China Markets Deputy Team Leader and a News Assistant, assisting reporters and contributing to features on significant economic events. Prior to Bloomberg, Tian was a Business News Reporter/Editor at Global Times, focusing on the economy and financial markets, and completed an internship as a Business Desk Reporter at Thomson Reuters. Tian holds a Master's degree in Mass Communications with a specialization in Business Journalism from ASU Walter Cronkite School, as well as two Bachelor's degrees in Management Studies and International Business Management from The University of Nottingham and The University of Nottingham Ningbo, China, respectively.
