Tom Freke

Tom Freke has extensive experience in the financial journalism and data sectors, currently serving as a Data Specialist in Fixed Income at Bloomberg LP since August 2012, where responsibilities include developing and curating data on new issue debt and sustainable fixed income. Previously, Tom held various editorial roles at Bloomberg LP, such as Senior Editor and Managing Editor for credit coverage, focusing on projects related to sustainable finance and ESG. Earlier career highlights include positions at CapitalStructure Limited as Associate Editor, specializing in CMBS and real estate finance, and roles at Thomson Reuters, Bond Radar, Fitch Ratings, and International Insider, where Tom covered topics including restructuring, syndicated loans, and Eurobonds. Tom Freke earned an MSc in British Politics from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BA Hons in Politics with History from the University of Exeter.
