Wayne Barlow

Wayne Barlow is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Global Head of Core Product at Bloomberg since February 2006, overseeing the evolution of the Bloomberg Terminal to meet user demands in a dynamic financial environment. Barlow has held various technical leadership positions at Bloomberg, including Global Head of Engineering, where management of the engineering teams for market and community applications was a key responsibility, and Head of Software Infrastructure, focusing on core system enhancements. Prior to Bloomberg, Barlow worked as Associate Director at Bear Stearns and as a Software Engineer at Compaq, with early experience as a Software Engineering Intern at the Naval Research Laboratory. Barlow holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech.
