On the 12th day of February 2007, Bloomfield was established in Lagos, Nigeria as a specialist commercial law firm for those who expect more. We are practical, commercial and goal driven in our approach. With a nimble team of over ten (10) legal practitioners, we work in partnership with our clients, anticipate their needs and proffer quality, practical, hands-on and cost effective solutions.

We take pride in our flexibility and accessibility at all times and have earned ourselves a reputation for prompt response, timely advice and exceeding clients’ expectations.

Our lawyers have a deft understanding of the econo-political and commercial environments in which our clients operate. We also keep abreast of developments in these constantly changing business and political environments. These enable us to proffer relevant and practical solutions to our clients’ issues.

Our experience, clientele (corporates, financial institutions, private equity firms, foreign law firms, governments and individuals) and the reputation of our partners, cut across several key industries, namely Aviation, Financial Institutions, Consumer Goods, Entertainment, Logistics, Media, Mining and Minerals, Oil and Gas, Power and Renewables, Real Estate, Shipping and Oil Services, and Telecommunications. Our lawyers are frequently invited to contribute to, or author leading texts in these industries; very often, they called upon to serve as resource persons at local and international seminars/workshops and as public and private sector office holders, advisers and consultants.

Using an integrated approach, Bloomfield offers multi-faceted services through the following practice groups:

Asset Management & Private Equity
