Jozef Očkay

Jozef Očkay is an experienced User Experience Designer and Consultant with a career spanning over two decades. Currently employed at Bloomreach since October 2022, Jozef is involved in various user experience initiatives. Prior experience includes significant roles at Sygic from January 2014 to September 2022, focused on enhancing user experiences for mobile applications and customer journey development. From April 2007 to December 2013, Jozef held multiple positions at IBM, including coordinating design activities, leading a web production team, guiding an innovation team, and contributing as a web developer. Jozef's early career includes serving as Guard Squadron Commander for the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, where responsibilities included leadership and supervision. Jozef's educational background comprises studies at the Central School of Post and Telecommunications and Comenius University, along with a degree from the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies at Slovak University of Technology.
