Michael Metternich

Michael Metternich began their work experience in 2007 as a Graduate Trainee at Logica. From there, they worked as a PhD student at the University of Amsterdam, focusing on crime reconstruction in surveillance videos. In 2011, they worked as a Medior Software Engineer at Rabobank ICT and as a Java Developer at Ordina. In 2013, they became an IT Specialist at Oelan and Vice Voorzitter at HC AMVJ. In 2015, they joined Hippo, a BloomReach company, where they initially served as a Web Developer and later became an Engineering Team Lead. Currently, they are the Director of Cloud and Solutions at bloomreach.

Michael Metternich attended the University of Amsterdam from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Intelligent Systems and Kunstmatige Intelligentie. Michael then continued their education at the same university from 2004 to 2006, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence.
