Peter Phanvan

Peter Phanvan has a diverse work experience that includes roles in software engineering, missionary work, and education mentoring. Peter currently works as a Software Engineer at Bloomreach, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, Peter was a Missionary at Missionaries of Charity Fathers for three years, from January 2019 to January 2022, where they worked with the poor in slums, hospitals, and centers for children with mental disabilities, focusing on education and forming young adults. Peter also worked as a Software Developer at SOFTEC from June 2017 to May 2018, where they developed a product for visualizing big data using tools like Logstash, Elasticsearch, Angular, and D3.js. Additionally, Peter served as an Education Mentor at BrainBasket Foundation from September 2017 to January 2018, guiding students in a comprehensive IT Harvard course on topics such as algorithmic thinking and programming languages like C, Python, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
