Simon Farthing has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Simon most recently worked at Bloomreach as the VP of Client Services, a position they still hold. Prior to this, Simon held various roles at Kibo Commerce, including VP of Global Customer Operations and EMEA Customer Success, and Senior Director of Customer Success. At Monetate, Simon worked as the Senior Director of EMEA Customer Success & Professional Services, and also briefly served as the Director of Global Strategy & Insights. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as the Head of Consultancy at Profusion, and as a Senior eCRM Consultant. Simon also worked at Carphone Warehouse as the Senior Customer Marketing Manager, and at Rayovac as a Marketing Manager. Simon began their career as a Marketing Officer at County Durham Foundation.

Simon Farthing completed their undergraduate education at Lancaster University from 2002 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. In 2007, they furthered their education at Lancaster University by completing a Certificate in Direct & Digital Marketing. Additionally, Simon Farthing obtained a certification in the Exponea Academy Fundamentals Course from Exponea in April 2021.
