Greg Burroughs has extensive work experience in the engineering and project management field. Greg started their career as a co-op student at Reliance Electric Company and Ross Equipment Company while attending RIT, where they provided engineering support. In 1993, they joined Bauer, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer. Greg then moved on to Bloomy Controls in 1998, where they worked as a Senior Project Manager. At Bloomy Controls, they were responsible for managing projects and developing LabVIEW applications. Greg's skills and expertise are focused on hardware and software integration, project management, and electrical engineering.
Greg Burroughs began their education in 1984 at Bryant & Stratton College, where they obtained an AOS in Electronic Technology in 1987. Greg then attended Genesee Community College from 1987 to 1989, earning an Associate of Science (AS) in Engineering Science. Continuing their education, Greg enrolled in the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1992, completing their studies with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
In addition to their degrees, Greg has also obtained several certifications. These include the "Project Management MicroMasters Capstone Exam" from edX in September 2018, "PM9003x: International Project Management" from edX in July 2018, "LabVIEW Environment" from National Instruments in June 2018, "LabVIEW Programming Fundamentals" from National Instruments in June 2018, "Best Practices for Project Management Success" from edX in April 2018, "Project Management Life Cycle" from edX in November 2017, and "Managing Projects with Microsoft Project" from edX in September 2017. Furthermore, Greg earned the "NI Certified Professional Instructor" certification from National Instruments in October 2002, the "Certified LabVIEW Architect" certification in March 2018, and the "Certified TestStand Developer" certification in October 2015.
