Blount Consulting was born from frustrations with an industry ever more focused on managing liability over client success. Our philosophy is to form meaningful relationships around our ethos of candor and care, that drive results—put simply:

Good people helping good people.

Securing debt tests even skilled leaders. And though processes can sometimes be straight & paved rather than winding & rocky, they are never short, making expert support critical for those who value time most.

Our support entails turnkey debt consulting for leaders seeking $7.0 - $35.0M of capital. We handle the heavy lifting, manage the entire process, and deliver the best of debt terms.

Teams often come to us after hitting a wall—networks tapped, bank financing explored, no term sheets in hand. Lenders may be skittish on a large missed contract, growth that is too rapid, specialized or overseas ops, a unique cap table, supply chain hurdles… but being passed over does not mean past potential. Tweaking the narrative in the right way, for the right audience, can work wonders.

We blend advocacy and architecture—complexity turned clarity for lenders. We demystify business peculiarities and develop frameworks that illuminate client potential while addressing challenges head-on. That facilitates lender confidence, which begets collaboration, and enables the architecting of terms together. Terms that support growth without overt constraint from overly rigid structure.

Whether restructuring, refinancing, tackling covenant issues, scaling SaaS operations, modernizing factories, launching satellites, or changing the world one hamburger patty at a time, we thrive where off-the-shelf solutions fall short.

Backed by decades of industry experience, a deep network of bank, non-bank, and private office lender relations, and a boldly blunt approach backed by a gamesome attitude, we don't just work in the gray zone, where others hesitate to so much as visit; we call it home.
