Joe Hansen's education history begins in 1988 when they attended UCLA for two years. During this time, they pursued a field of study in astrophysics. Following their time at UCLA, Joe Hansen enrolled at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in 1991 and completed their studies in 1992, specializing in astrophysics. Finally, from 2001 to 2003, Joe Hansen attended the University of Nevada, Reno, focusing on a combination of physics and mathematics. While they pursued these fields of study at all three institutions, Joe Hansen did not obtain a degree from any of them.
