Frank Vrla

Frank Vrla has over 35 years of experience in the Upstream Energy data and software industry. He has worked extensively in reserves forecasting and economics, supporting clients, and most recently working with field data capture ranging from the pre-sales stage through the entire support process.

After graduating from Texas A&M University, Frank started his career at Lear Petroleum as a Reserve Evaluation Engineer working very closely with David P Cook’s OGRE Package. He held various positions there till LearData was purchased by Dwight’s Energy Data. At Dwight’s (predecessor of IHS Energy) Frank was promoted to head of Client Support till 2000, when Frank moved to the FieldDIRECT product where he was the Director of Customer Solutions.
