Joe Callanan

Joe is a principal at Blu Venture Investors and serves on the Cyber Fund Administrative Committee. He is a co-owner of SSi Custom Plastics and Rowe Industries, manufacturers of thermoformed plastics and silicone insulated wire, respectively. He is a former and founding board member of Big League Advance, a fund company investing in professional athletes using advanced statistical methods. He has 25 years of experience in building real estate service businesses and real estate development, most recently as Northeast regional director, Trammell Crow Company, and chief investment officer, Realterm Global. He currently serves on the boards of 3C Logic and Social Toaster and manages the Blu affiliate program. He is an active member of YPO Gold, a global leadership community of more than 29,000 chief executives in 130 countries.

As an investor, Joe is interested in cyber security companies and technologies that have order of magnitude impacts on their customers. He looks for experienced teams that can adapt to the feedback from their customers and the market.
