Matt B.

Matt B. has a diverse work experience starting with their role as an Engineering Intern at Lovell Engineering Associates, PC in 2007. Matt then worked as an Engineering Assistant at Mercer Engineering Research Center from 2008 to 2012. Following that, they joined Reeves Construction Company as a Project Engineer from 2012 to 2015. Matt's career progressed to working at Blue Bird Corporation, where they held various positions. Matt started as a Design Engineer in Powertrain and Chassis from 2015 to 2017. Matt was then promoted to Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, overseeing a team of 6 engineers and 9 engineering technicians from 2017 to 2018. Later, they advanced to the role of Director, Manufacturing Engineering, leading a team of 12 engineers and 11 engineering technicians in supporting manufacturing operations from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they serve as the Director, New Model Engineering at Blue Bird Corporation, where they manage a team of 15+ engineers dedicated to designing and implementing new product changes.

Matt B. attended Mercer University from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
