Arunas Stonys has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Arunas started their career in 2007 as an IT Administrator in the Fire and Rescue Department under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania. In 2013, they joined Blue Bridge as an IT Engineer and later became the Head of Customer Service. In 2014, they transitioned to Progressive IT Solutions where they held the position of CEO until October 2022.

Arunas Stonys holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from VILNIUS TECH - Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they pursued Higher education in Computer Engineering from Vilniaus Kolegija/University of Applied Sciences between 2003 and 2006. Arunas has also obtained various certifications, including IT4ITTM Foundation from Architecture Center Ltd in 2021, ITIL 4 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2019, and Lean Academy from Lean Academy Lithuania in 2018. Furthermore, they hold several Microsoft certifications, including Exam 411: Administering Windows Server 2012 and Exam 410: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012, both obtained in 2013, as well as the Microsoft Certified Professional certification.
