Scott Stefan

Scott Stefan is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in information technology and management. Currently serving as the Owner of Blue Cap IT since October 2017, Stefan has also held the position of Executive Director of Information Technology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine since October 2009. Previous roles include IT Project Manager at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, IT Program Manager for the DC Government, and Network Manager for the National Association of Counties. Early career positions included Systems Administrator at Corvis Corporation, Network Administrator at Legg Mason, and Research Chemist at Shire Laboratories. Scott Stefan holds an MBA from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Maryland.
