Jack Ahern

Jack Ahern, FACHE, FHFMA, is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in finance and reimbursement across various prominent organizations. Ahern served as Senior Director of Pediatric Health Care Systems & Finance Transformation at the American Academy of Pediatrics and held various leadership roles at RUSH University Medical Center, including Assistant Professor of Health Systems Management and Director of Financial Systems. Ahern's federal experience includes serving as an Administrative Law Judge with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Ahern has also worked in consulting roles, including Vice President at Strategic Reimbursement Group and VP Healthcare Services, Policy, and Reimbursement at ACG Health. Currently, Ahern serves as Reimbursement Principal at Blue & Co., LLC, and as Chapter President for the American College of Healthcare Executives in Chicago. Ahern holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry from Dalhousie University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
