Jay Snyder has over 10 years of work experience in the field of marketing. Jay began their career as a Creative Designer at Iowa State Daily in 2011. In 2012, they became a Marketing Associate/Intern at Harrisvaccines Inc. Jay then moved on to Iowa State University: Cyclone Hockey where they worked as a Marketing Intern and Director of Sports Promotions in 2013. That same year, they also worked as a Marketing Specialist/Intern at Etekcity where they pushed product offerings into major chain stores, captured and produced promotional videos, and managed corporate social media accounts. In 2014, they worked as an Account Coordinator and Account Services Intern at Meyocks and as a Marketing Coordinator at HealthyCoat. In 2015, they became a Regional Marketing Manager at Ken Garff Automotive Group. In 2017, they worked as an Automotive Account Executive at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK. In 2018, they became a Marketing Associate at Palmer Group. Lastly, in 2021, they began working as a Digital Marketing Strategist and Senior Digital Marketing Strategist at Blue Compass.

Jay Snyder attended Simpson College from 2010-2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Education/Teaching of Individuals in Elementary Special Education Programs. Jay then attended Iowa State University from 2011-2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Marketing. Additionally, they obtained a Google Ads Search Certification and a Google Analytics Certification from the Google Digital Academy (Skillshop) in December 2022.
