Matthew McGarvey

Matthew McGarvey is a seasoned professional in impact investment, with over 20 years of experience leading initiatives across Asia. Currently serving as Co-Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Central Vietnam, Director at the Mekong Center For Climate Finance, and a senior advisor at Blue Evolution, McGarvey's work focuses on mobilizing significant climate finance for Vietnam and strengthening regenerative agriculture in the region. They also hold roles as a mentor at GROW and a board member at The China Global South Project. Previously, McGarvey managed major projects at organizations like PwC and the Green Climate Fund, and they co-founded multiple ventures aimed at enhancing sustainable practices in agriculture and traditional medicine. McGarvey holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has pursued language studies at Middlebury College and Harbin Institute of Technology.
