Stephanie Brown

Stephanie Brown is a synthetic and chemical biologist with over eight years of industry experience. Currently serving as a Principal Research Scientist at Blue Evolution, they are focused on developing sustainable seaweed-based products. Previously, they held positions including Senior Scientist at Zymergen, where they led cross-department teams in natural product discovery, and Scientist II at Radiant Genomics, where they designed experiments for small molecule production. In addition, their background includes postdoctoral research at Harvard University and the John Innes Centre, where they advanced genetic research and analytical methodologies. Stephanie is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry at Harvard University.
