Chad Reed

Chad Reed serves as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Sustainability and Impact at HASI, where also holds the position of Executive Director of the HASI Foundation. In addition to former roles such as Head of Investor Relations and Co-Host of the Climate Positive Podcast, Reed is a Co-Founder and Partner at Blue Forest Conservation and a Board Member at both Blue Forest Conservation and Maryland Cultural & Conference Center. Previous experience includes serving as the Director at TerraForm Power, focusing on structured finance, capital markets, risk management, power marketing, and investor relations, as well as a Manager in Strategic Finance at Sungevity and an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellow. Reed holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
