I started Blue Oak because I saw a gap between how Medicare is sold and how real people experience healthcare. For more than a decade I worked on the technology side of Medicare, watching thousands of enrollments move through call centers and platforms. The process was efficient, but it wasn’t personal. Seniors were making life-changing decisions in rushed conversations with someone who many times would never speak to them again.

Blue Oak was built to be the opposite of that. I wanted an agency where advice comes before commissions, where clients have one advocate instead of a rotating queue, and where decisions are explained in way they can be comprehended. My goal is simple: help people choose their coverage options with the same care I would give my own family.
