Aaron Enes

Aaron Enes, Ph. D., currently serves as Principal Engineer for Advanced Capabilities at Blue Origin since May 2022. Prior to this role, Aaron held multiple positions at MIT Lincoln Laboratory from August 2010 to June 2022, including Lead Systems Engineer for Advanced Lasercom Systems and Operations, where oversight of a space-based laser communications payload was a key responsibility. Other roles at MIT Lincoln included Flight Software Lead, Systems Engineer, and Control Systems Lead Engineer, focusing on software development, control systems for optical communication, and automated testing for laser communication performance. Aaron's academic background includes a Ph.D. and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as a BS in Engineering Physics from Northwest Nazarene University.
