Adam Smith

Adam Smith is a highly skilled Fluid Systems Engineer at Blue Origin since November 2021, focusing on propellant systems for the New Glenn Second Stage. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Vehicle Engineer at the Vanderbilt Aerospace Design Laboratory (VADL), where management of vehicle development contributed to a championship-winning rocket in the 2020 NASA Student Launch Initiative. Adam also held positions as a Field Engineer, Summer Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University, and Engineering Intern at SL Tennessee, showcasing expertise in design, prototyping, and testing across various aerospace and engineering projects. Academically, Adam earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering, Cum Laude, in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University.
