Alexander Herring

Alexander Herring is a skilled propulsion structures analyst currently employed at Blue Origin since November 2020. With prior experience at Agilis Engineering, Inc. and Parametric Solutions, Inc. as a gas turbine structures engineer, Alexander Herring has engaged in structural analysis and project planning for various gas turbine applications. Contributions to Firefly Space Systems as a propulsion design engineer included the development of hardware for the Firefly Alpha rocket. Earlier roles at GE Aviation and Advatech Pacific involved designing turbine engines and creating engine engineering components. Alexander Herring holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering, and Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, earned between 2006 and 2011.
