Amanda Zhou

Amanda Zhou is an experienced aerospace systems engineer currently working at Blue Origin as an Aerospace Systems Engineer II since August 2022, where mission readiness of the New Shepard propulsion module has been ensured through rigorous risk assessments and safety reviews. Previously serving as an Associate Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman from July 2020 to August 2022, Amanda managed the development of space mission management software. Amanda's early career included leadership roles at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where responsibilities included overseeing communications for the General Engineering department and mentoring students. Internship experiences at General Dynamics Electric Boat, Tobyhanna Army Depot, and SKLZ further contributed to technical expertise in systems engineering and product design. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New York University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering at UCLA.
