Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is a Sr. Fluids Valve Design Engineer at Blue Origin, specializing in the design, testing, and analysis of valve systems for aerospace applications. With a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University, Andrew has gained extensive experience through positions at Aerodyne Industries and NASA, as well as internships with Jacobs Technology. Andrew has also been actively involved in combat robotics since 2000, achieving notable success, including a national championship title. In addition, Andrew served as a leader in the NC State Marching Band, fostering teamwork and communication skills essential for collaborative engineering projects.
