Brandon Smith

Brandon Smith, P.E. is a Structural Design Engineer currently employed at Blue Origin since July 2017. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Engineer II and Engineering Manager at Schlumberger from January 2015 to June 2017, overseeing all BP Projects for OneSubsea Manifolds Engineering and leading efforts in value engineering and new technology development. Previously, as a Subsea Manifolds Lead Engineer at Cameron from July 2007 to January 2015, Brandon managed a team of engineers and achieved significant project milestones, including 100% on-time delivery for the BP Taurus Libra Project. Brandon's early career includes service as a Sergeant in the Army National Guard from January 2001 to January 2007, with participation in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and a Systems Engineering COOP position at Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, earned in 2007.
