Brendan Smith is a highly experienced aerospace engineer with a strong background in propulsion, fluid systems, and launch integration. Currently serving as a New Glenn Components Engineer and Responsible Engineer for the Cryogenic Helium Subsystem at Blue Origin since July 2022, Brendan previously held positions at Firefly Aerospace as Lead Propulsion & Fluid Systems Engineer for the Blue Ghost Lunar Lander and Senior Production & Test Engineer. Brendan's experience includes leadership roles in various projects at Stratolaunch, Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, and Orbital ATK, demonstrating expertise in systems integration, production planning, and engineering design. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and Brain & Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master's in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and is a candidate for a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology.
