Caleb Roepke is a highly experienced metallurgist and welding engineer currently serving as Principal Metallurgist and Welding Engineer at Blue Origin since June 2022. Previously, Caleb held various leadership roles at Exponent from January 2016 to June 2022, providing failure analysis and welding engineering consulting across multiple industries, including consumer electronics and oil & gas. At ExxonMobil Development Company, from September 2010 to January 2016, Caleb led a fabrication team and conducted investigations into welding failures in advanced materials. Early career experience includes research and teaching roles at the Colorado School of Mines, a welding research assistant position at Los Alamos National Laboratory, and internships with Northrop Grumman Corporation. Caleb holds a Ph.D. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a B.S. in Engineering - Welding from LeTourneau University.
