Chip Link is currently the Space Vehicle Design Lead for Space Destinations at Blue Origin, a position held since 2022. Previously, they worked at Boeing from 1988 to 2005, serving in various roles including Engineering Lead for the Pressurized Module Design on the ISS Program and Chief Spacecraft Designer for Exploration Programs. From 2020 to 2022, Link was the Crew Module IPT Lead for the Human Landing System at Dynetics, Inc. They earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Alabama between 1984 and 1988.
