Christopher Porter

Christopher Porter is a mechanical engineer with nearly two decades of experience specializing in turbomachinery component design. Currently, they serve as a Senior Manager and Product Lead at Blue Origin, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team focused on advancing main turbopump design for the Vulcan and New Glenn vehicle programs. Christopher has a comprehensive background in thermal and sealing design, mechanical design, and the development of emerging technologies, having held various roles at Blue Origin and GE Power, including lead positions in turbine design and engineering development programs. They hold a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
