Dan Parrish is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in aerospace design and analysis. Currently working at Blue Origin since October 2022 on the lunar lander project within the Fluids & Propulsion team, Dan previously contributed to the New Glenn rocket as a Structural Design Engineer from June 2017 to May 2022, focusing on aft hypersonic aero surfaces and flight hardware design. Dan's background includes participating in the UWashington Formula Motorsports team, where significant projects involved developing an active limited-slip differential and an adjustable pedal tray. As a co-founder of JikoPower Inc., Dan worked on innovative solutions for providing electricity in underserved regions. Dan began a career in engineering with an internship at Terex Corporation, improving manufacturing efficiency, and holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, along with an Associate’s degree from Everett Community College.
