Dan S. is an Electrical Engineer currently employed at Blue Origin since August 2022. Dan's professional experience includes roles as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Unique Technical Services LLC and Zebra Technologies, where significant contributions were made to power monitoring systems and USB-Hub board design. Leadership skills were demonstrated as the Power Sub-System Team Lead for the Stony Brook Robotics Team, overseeing the design of an autonomous vehicle's power system. Dan also served as Public Relations Director for the robotics team, significantly enhancing new member involvement and retention. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering was obtained from Stony Brook University, complemented by a high school diploma in Environmental Engineering Technology from Bayside High School.
