Emi Nagashima

Emi Nagashima currently serves as a Software Integration and Test Engineer at BLUE ORIGIN since May 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Run Plant Engineer at Dow from July 2015 to May 2020, where responsibilities encompassed leading the "cold side" section of a $1.3 billion hydrocarbon cracker and managing large capital project development cycles. During a summer internship at 3M in 2014, Emi supported a plastics compounding plant by optimizing lab procedures and actively participating in a Kaizen event to improve product changeover processes. Earlier experiences include serving as a Unit Leader at Skylark Ranch Girl Scout Resident Camp in 2013 and participating in a study abroad program focused on alternative energy systems at Washington University in St. Louis. Emi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, completed in 2015.
